Transferring units between users
How to initiate a transfer
-
You can initiate this process from two different places:
a. Select “Transfer units” from your home dashboard
b. Navigate to the user detail page for the user you want to transfer with through an organisation you both share and select the “Transfer units” action on their unit wallet – this is also a good way of checking they have enough units to transfer before you begin
-
If coming from the home dashboard and you belong to more than one organisation, you’ll need to select an organisation first – choose one you share with the user you want to transfer with
-
Select if you are the unit sender or the unit recipient – this preselects you in either field below, unit sender appearing first and recipient second
-
If coming from the home dashboard, you’ll also need to find and select the other user you want to transfer with in whatever field remains
-
If coming directly from a user detail page, that user is selected as the unit recipient and an organisation you share is preselected (again, if you have access to more than one) - you can then swap places by selecting different options above
-
You’ll then be asked the total number of units you want to transfer – a summary of yours and your selected user’s unit totals appear alongside each of your names so you know what your limit is
-
Add optional comments that are included as part of transaction history – you may wish to or be asked to contextualise this transfer for internal reporting
-
Before confirming your transfer, a summary will display explaining how yours and your selected user’s unit totals will be affected
-
Complete your transfer with the “Transfer units between units” button
Things to know
Anyone can transfer units to and from their own unit wallet from any other user that belongs to the same organisations as they do.
